In an interview on fox and friends last night Judge Andrew Napolitano had this to say
“Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command. He didn’t use the NSA, he didn’t use the CIA, he didn’t use the FBI, and he didn’t use the Department of Justice… He used GCHQ. What the heck is GCHQ? That’s the initials for the British spying agency. They have 24/7 access to the NSA database. So by simply having two people go to them and say ‘President Obama needs transcripts of conversations involving Candidate Trump, conversations involving President-Elect Trump,’ [Obama’s] able to get it, and there’s no American fingerprints on this.”
During a different appearance on Fox, he explained how it is possible. The judge explained that the GCHQ has the authorization for use of what the NSA picks up. The NSA has the ability to listen in on phone conversations and read every text that is sent. If they choose they can download these things as transcripts and read them.
The part of the quote that stuck out to me more than anything was this:
“So by simply having two people go to them saying, ‘President Obama needs transcripts of conversations involving candidate Trump, conversations involving president-elect Trump,’ he’s able to get it, and there’s no American fingerprints on this. â€Napolitano added.
So pretty much Obama wanted a way to spy on Trump without being able to trace it back to him. Sure there will be a fiery trail of evidence pointing directly to Obama but they will never to be able to confirm it. He realized that if his witch hunt came up empty Trump would come right back at him and take care of whoever was responsible for it. So Obama made sure to keep his hands clean.
Also, keep in mind the person who ordered the surveillance to be done resigned three days after Trump’s inauguration.
So what does this mean to us?
Well for starters it shows us that Obama and his administration certainly played a huge role in the attempt to run Trump out of office. This was an inside job that stretched from the executive branch to the intelligence agencies. Knowing it may be risky to use our own government agencies to attack Trump he looked overseas to people who had just as much info and capability as the NSA. After that, he then expanded the ability for American intelligence agencies to share information between each other. This allowed all agencies to receive the information they might not have in the past as well as make it much easier for the gullible MSM to pick up. He did all of this without leaving any real fingerprints behind. Although Obama’s actions are legal in this case they strengthen the evidence of Obamas plan to knock Trump out of office. The longer Trump is in office the more Obama is exposed and he has too many skeletons in his closet to allow that to happen.
