While speaking with Progressive Radio Bill Press(it was an event to sell his new book The Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the Truth in America)Â Jim Acosta claimed that he throws beer cans at the TV because of President Trump.

I throw my beer cans at the TV screen too when they’re empty from time to time, but I think we also have to take stock of what we’re doing at home, what we’re doing in our communities. What’s happening in our daily lives that is contributing to this culture of just viciousness? We’ve become a vicious, nasty country.
The amount of virtue signaling here is ridiculous. Why is it whenever the left attacks Trump they are forced to lie about them? Acosta claims that Trump called immigrants criminals and rapists. Trump has never done that. Every time Trump mentions the crime and the rape he is talking about illegal aliens(although the idea that legal immigrants don’t commit crime is false as well). Does Acosta not realize that he is helping the “vicious nasty country” he is talking about. He works for an organization that spews lies on a daily basis. Those lies have led to distrust among Americans. There is nothing worse than claiming to care about fixing something without fixing your own house first, without fixing your own problems first.
