New York just reported its highest single-day case total ever.
They had 21,027 cases.

A smart ruling class would understand that this is not a time to overreact.
They would understand that cases are not the issue.
Deaths are the issue.
They would also recognize that lockdowns failed and doing that failed strategy again would have no basis in science.
Sadly, it seems like strict lockdowns are coming again.
