FLASHBACK: Ronald Reagan fired his Communication’s Director after just 5 days

Donald Trump fired his Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci after just 11 days.  This caused twitter to explode and even members of Pro-Trump media to freak out.

Trump media’s freak out over Scaramucci firing is ridiculous

Now, the media is talking this up as the shortest tenure of any Communications Director but our research has dug up that this isn’t the case.

According to a 1987 Jewish Telegraph Agency report:

German born John Koehler, who was a member of the Hitler Youth as a child, was dismissed from his White House job Friday, only five days after becoming President Reagan’s communications director.

He was sacked by the new White House Chief of Staff, former Sen. Howard Baker, who took over from Donald Regan just a week ago. Baker reportedly told Koehler that in reorganizing the White House staff his job classification might be eliminated.
