FLASHBACK: Podesta emails reveal secret meeting being set up between China and Clinton campaign manager John Podesta before election

WASHINGTON, DC - OCTOBER 24: Center for American Progress Co-founder John Podesta moderates a panel discussion during a conference commemorating the 10th anniversary of the center at the Astor Ballroom of the St. Regis Hotel October 24, 2013 in Washington, DC. Former Clinton Administration Chief of Staff Podesta co-founded the liberal public policy research and advocacy organization as a think tank that rivals conservative policy groups, such as the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute. With the idea of Russia-Trump collusion somehow still dominating the news cycle I thought it would be a great idea to look back some very interesting emails that were revealed in the Podesta email dump.

Subject: Ambassador Cui Requesting JDP Meeting

Hello John, Ambassador Cui is requesting a meeting with you. Passing on the inquiry below from his team. Haven’t bugged them for more detail about what he hopes to discuss, would be happy to do so if that’s helpful. Copying Milia. If you do take the meeting it would be great to mention how much we appreciated his embassy’s assistance reaching out to Beijing offices for our CAP trips in March and June of this year. Hope all is well on your other project.

Dear Melanie, Ambassador Cui Tiankai would like to have a meeting with Mr. Podesta at his earliest convenience. We don’t know if he has a scheduler now, so could you please help us convey this meeting request? Amb. Cui would like to talk about the China-U.S. relations and other issues of mutual interest. Thank you and we look forward to your kind reply.

    Best, Liang

    Best,

    Kurt

If you swaped Podestas name with Trump or one of his associates and made China Russia the mainstream media and Democrats would have already set there hair on fire claiming collusion.
