Valentin Broeksmit was found dead at a Los Angeles school earlier this week.
Broeksmit went missing after turning over files regarding Deutsche Bank.
Broeksmit was the son of a Deutsche Bank executive who died by suicide in 2014.
Areputed federal informant and whistleblower who went missing after reportedly turning over a trove of secret files about Deutsche Bank was found dead at a Los Angeles school earlier this week, a police official said Wednesday.
The body of Valentin Broeksmit, 46, was found Monday at Woodrow Wilson High School shortly before 7 a.m., Sgt. Rudy Perez of the Los Angeles School Police Department said in an email.
Records with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner do not list a cause of death. Los Angeles Police Department Capt. Kenneth Cabrera told the Los Angeles Times that authorities do not suspect foul play.
The most interesting part of the story is the links to Fusion GPS and the Russia hoax.
"The money was from Glenn R. Simpson, a former journalist who ran a research company called Fusion GPS. Simpson was searching for more dirt and, Mr. Broeksmit told me, he agreed to pay $10,000 for the Deutsche materials."https://t.co/qrp3rdow4D
