Several left-leaning news outlets, including the Washington Post and the Associated Press (AP), are trying to push the notion that there are irreconcilable differences between U.S. President Donald Trump and Barr.
Now, of course, this is just he said she said right now. I have no sources that say he was never thinking about resigning.
With that being said I really doubt that he was. In all of Barr’s interviews, he made the point that he would “not be bullied” by anyone. This idea that he would go all over the airwaves talking about not being bullied and then resign just doesn’t add up.
