This data can only really mean two things.
The first is not many people knew about Tulsi Gillibrand. This might have been there first time seeing her and therefore googled her to find out who she was. The only weakness in this theory is that the next 3 Booker, Warren and Beto were people who are already extremely well known so if it was only her being new then the other lesser-known candidates would have also seen a spike.
The Second is people actually liked what she was saying. A Drudge Poll found Tulsi Gabbard destroying the rest of the candidates in who people thought did the best.
I think that the truth is likely a mix of both. Her popularity definitely had something to do with her being new but I wouldn’t be shocked to see that many Democrats were impressed with her.
Even the Young Turks had some good things to say about her.
