During a White House speech on Wednesday night, red lasers that were part of a Christmas light display hovered over President Trump’s face while he was speaking creating an alarming visual for spectators.

With President Trump being in the figurative cross hairs of so many of his enemies, as well as the frequent theatrical and symbolic violence enacted against Trump in the media, in theater, and from Kathy Griffin, it is a great relief that this incident was merely a matter of unfortunate holiday lighting.
