“The Chinese army has reportedly deployed 150,000 troops to the North Korean border to prepare for pre-emptive attacks after the United States dropped airstrikes on Syria.
President Donald Trump’s missile strike on Syria on Friday was widely interpreted as a warning to North Korea.
And now China, left shocked by the air strikes, has deployed medical and backup units from the People’s Liberation Army forces to the Yalu River,”
“The troops have been dispatched to handle North Korean refugees and ‘unforeseen circumstances’, such as the prospect of preemptive attacks on North Korea,”
This comes just days after President Trump met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. At their meeting Trump pressed Xi to do more to stop North Koreas extreme ambitions to acquire nuclear power. Clearly, Xi is showing no plans of listening to him.
This whole situation is still up in the air. It is clear that China isn’t planning on backing down from their support of North Korea. It is also clear Trump will not allow North Korea to attain Nuclear Power without repercussion.
Recently, The US Navy has moved the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier strike group from Singapore to North Korea after the country conducted more missile testing.

“According to a statement provided to CNN by officials in Pyongyang, the “current grim situation” justifies Pyongyang’s “self-defensive and pre-emptive strike capabilities with the nuclear force at the core.”
“We will make the US fully accountable for the catastrophic consequences that may be brought about by its high-handed and outrageous acts,” the statement said.”
Tensions are continuing to rise in this region and it seems as if the worst is yet to come.
