The simple problem with Red Flag Laws is that it throws due process out the window. The bottom line is that Red Flag laws decide that your gun can be taken whether innocent or guilty.
I do not oppose laws that take guns away from those who shouldn’t have them. I actually think that we do need some form of doing this. Many perpetrators of Mass Shootings showcase a history of weird behaviors that would point to them being a threat. That is why due process is so important. Due process allows us to determine who is a threat and who isn’t.
