Democrat Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg told a group of students that the founding fathers did not understand that slavery was a bad thing.

Ted Cruz dunked all over him for this comment:

The main problem here goes deeper than just him lying. A lot of politicians lie. The real issue is that he exposed the real way he views America. He doesn’t view this country as something founded on the basis of freedom. He views America and our founding father as terrible racists who weren’t as moral as the Pro-Abortion gay Catholic that Pete Buttigieg is.
