Brazilian President Rushed To The Hospital

Brazilian President Jair Bolsnonaro, a Trump ally, was rushed to the hospital with a intestinal obstruction.

Bolsnonaro was stabbed in the stomach during the 2018 presidential election.

From Newsmax:

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was taken to a Sao Paulo hospital early Monday with a suspected intestinal obstruction, the country’s media reported.

Globo reported that Bolsonaro returned to the Brazilian capital during the night from a New Year break on the coast and was immediately taken to Hospital Vila Nova Star.

Globo quoted Bolsonaro’s doctor, Antônio Luiz Macedo, as saying Bolsonaro had stomach pains.

Since his stabbing during the 2018 presidential election, Bolsonaro has undergone stomach surgery several times.

Trump endorsed Bolsonaro back in October.

From The Hill:

Former President Trump shared his endorsement for Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s reelection amid backlash in Brazil over Bolsonaro’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“President Jair Bolsonaro and I have become great friends over the past few years. He fights hard for, and loves, the people of Brazil—Just like I do for the people of the United States,” Trump said in his statement Tuesday.

“Brazil is lucky to have a man such as Jair Bolsonaro working for them,” Trump added. “He is a great President and will never let the people of his great country down!”
