An in-depth look at Donald Trump’s first 100 days as U.S President

Today marks Trump’s 100th day as the President of The United States of America. The 100th day has for some reason been a day that the media loves to cover. The reality of the situation is that U.S Presidents are in office for 1,460 days. The first 100 mean no more than the next 100. With that being said we will adhere to the social norms and bring you a list of the good, the mediocre and the ugly from Donald’s first 100 days.

THE GOOD:

Enacted 28 pieces of legislation(Most since Truman)

Signed over 30 executive orders

Crackdown on Illegal immigration

Trump’s brightest spot is his crackdown on illegal immigration. Since Trump has taken office his stern rhetoric has stopped many illegals from even trying to come over. We saw a 93% drop in illegal immigration last month and 40% drop in border crossings during his first two months. He also has attacked sanctuary cities. He signed an executive order calling for the defunding of cities that purposely are harboring illegal immigrants but it was blocked by the ninth circuit court. Trump allowed ICE agents to properly do their job and it is showing up in a big way.

Terrorism:

Donald Trump vowed to destroy ISIS, his first 100 days have certainly backed up those claims. Donald Trump’s stern rhetoric has forced leaders worldwide to focus on the issue of Radical-Islam. We watched him unleash the “Mother of All Bombs” killing over 100 ISIS insurgents. We watched him stay out what could’ve been a full-scale invasion into Syria. The U.S is currently probing all 50 states due to the fact the threat of terrorism is at an all-time high.

His effect has also affected other countries. He continues to call out European leaders who have refused to properly protect their citizens by allowing mass immigration from war-torn regions of the world. Emirates was forced to cut it’s flights from The Middle East to the U.S due to a “lack of interest”. Trump started a movement that saw the barring of “large electronics” on some middle eastern flights.

Foreign policy:

Trump has nailed foreign Policy on all fronts. He has made all the right friends and all the right enemies. Every leader he meets with leaves knowing that President Trump isn’t a pushover. He now has China on America’s side in the war for the Korean Penisula, after one meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi he did what Obama couldn’t and has forced leaders worldwide to renegotiate their deals with the U.S in a way that is Pro-Americana.

He also has been strong when he needed to be. Sure I disagreed with the bombing of Syrian airfields but it was still extreme show of strength. Donald Trump showed the world that not only is he not in bed with Putin but he will not tolerate countries breaking agreements with America. North Korea is something that Trump has played as well as he could. He got China to pressure Kim Jong-un and to call for the release of their nuclear arsenal. He has offered a diplomatic resolution but North Korea doesn’t seem too interested in that.

Economic:

Economically Trump has not disappointed. He has brought a ton of jobs to the private sector and his actions have met his campaign promises of hiring Americans. Trump signed an executive order forcing federal agencies to buy American and hire American.

The Stock Market continues to reach an all-time high

Unemployment claims dropped by 19,000. People collecting unemployment insurance  down 7%.

Excerpt from Breitbart on Trump’s economics through his first 100 days:

During his election campaign, Trump promised to bring jobs back to America, especially those from companies planning to outsource overseas. Having met with a range of business leaders, he has received assurances from companies such as Ford and Carrier Corporations to cancel their overseas plans and instead invest in America. Leading technology firms such as Apple, Amazon, Samsung, and Intel have also pledged to create thousands of new jobs in America over the coming years.

Furthermore, recent economic indicators have been overwhelmingly positive. The economy added nearly 300,000 private sector jobs in the first full month of Trump’s presidency, with the U.S. unemployment rate at 4.5 percent. In March, the Dow Jones industrial average also rose above 21,000 points for the first time in its history.

Calling out of Obama and intelligence agencies for spying on him:

Below are articles on how Trump was spied on by each person/agency. Even if the MSM won’t cover it that Trump’s claims are true, I love the fact he continues to stand by them even when the media tries to scare him away from it.

NSA

CIA

GCHQ

Obama administration

Hillary Clinton

THE MEDIOCRE:

The WALL:

President Trump, we want the wall built. Throughout your campaign, you and told us over and over again “The Wall will be built”.  We need the Wall, it is a promise that is unnegotiable. (5 reasons The Wall must be built)

Tax Reform:

Trump’s tax reform looks great. He has stripped the unfair 7 bracket system down to 3 and got rid of loopholes that allow the 1% to avoid paying their fair share of taxes through deductables. It also cuts taxes on big and small business by 20% allowing them more freedom. Here is the issue. Experts have said it is very unlikely that this makes it through and passes. Until I see Trump land a big piece of legislation this will stay in the mediocre section.

Syrian Strike:

Read my work the Syrian Strike:

Syrian chemical attacks were carried out by Rebels not Assad.

Trump overthrow Assad and you lose our support

Alliance with Bashar al-Assad is Trumps only way to fix Syria

War vs The media:

Trump is winning the war with the media in a big way. 88% of Americans don’t trust the MSM anymore and for good reason. He has called them out on their lies and unveiled the leftist narrative they produce. He tricked them into publishing  78 terror attacks to help support for his cause, may have leaked his own tax returns to embarrass Rachel Maddow and even got a reporter to admit he treats them better than the Obama administration. He is killing the media and will continue to do so until they change their ways. The reason I have this in the mediocre section is because he has failed to produce a major victory. Trump’s travel ban, healthcare, wall building and tax reform have all failed to be implemented in his first 100 days. This allows them to continue to push their ponies and rainbows narrative that appeals to the snowflakes of our country.

THE UGLY:

Swamp draining/Family/Globalism:

This is by far the biggest disappointment of Trump’s presidency. We voted for him because he was different. We voted for him because he wasn’t a system politician. Since taking office he has allowed the swamp to enter his inner circle. He openly admitted that his cabinet is made up of two ideologies. The democratic globalists run by Jared Kushner and the Pro-Americana Nationalist Steve Bannon.  This is something that Trump said wouldn’t happen. He trusts his daughter and Kushner and is letting them have far too much say over policy. Ivanka met with Planned Parenthood, is talking about maybe opening the borders for Syrians and has a weird growing relationship with German Chancellor Merkel. All of these things are non-negotiables. Trump we voted for you not Ivanka, keep your family out of The White House.

He also has failed to rid himself of Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan is a system politician that is more Democrat than Republican. He believes in big government but without the victimology that the Democrats rely on now.  He said before the campaign that he would never support you, his approval rating is below 20%, there is no reason to keep him around.

Healthcare:

Trump’s healthcare debacle will be disastrous unless he fixes it. Trump said he would destroy the joke that is Obamacare yet has failed to do so. He blamed Republicans for not supporting Obamacare 2.0 and even offered to work with the Democrats. Infowars.com points out that Trump could have easily destroyed Obamacare.

All President Trump must do to “repeal” Obamacare is sign an Executive Order instructing the Solicitor General to withdraw the Obama administration’s appeal in the federal district court case U.S. House of Representatives v. Burwell, (130 F. Supp. 3d 53, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, 2016).

The result will be to immediately defund the low-income insurance company subsidies being paid by the federal government under Section 1402 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), causing Obamacare to collapse, almost immediately.

The point is Congress never funded any taxpayer funds to pay the low-income insurance subsidies that are at the heart of making the ACA work.

The fact he has not blown the whole thing up or even given a reasonable replacement is mindboggling. This can easily be a victory for Trump if he sticks to his campaign promise on Healthcare.

Defending of Bill O’Reilly:

Now I don’t know what happened with Bill O’Reilly. I’m not sure whether O’Reilly is guilty of the claims he was charged with. One thing I do know is that Trump can’t come to his support. By Trump tweeting that O’Reilly is innocent he puts himself in a lose-lose situation. Even if O’Reilly was innocent the general population wouldn’t care. Once these accusations are thrown at you the general public always judges on its own before even knowing the truth. After your Hollywood Tapes, you should never come to the support of someone in O’Reillys situation.

The attack on Wiki Leaks:

I’m going to keep this one short. Do not touch Wiki Leaks. You liked them during the election, don’t change your mind now.

Planned Parenthood:

Planned Parenthood must be defunded and as soon as possible. Trump did a great job of stopping the funding from Ngo’s that supported Abortions overseas but has failed to apply significant pressure on abortion domestically. 300,00o babies have their life taken every year. You promised to be a voice for those 300,000. The government is currently funding an organization that holds quotas for abortions. If their employees meet their quotas then they are given vacations and pizza parties. One former employee said when an abortion fails and the baby comes out alive, “It depends on who is in the room” when they decide what to do with it. They take in helpless young women who are scared and show them no option but the one that will leave them mentally hurt for the rest of their life. We have caught them on tape joking over abortons and the selling of the babies parts. It is time they are defunded.

Donald Trump’s first 100 days have been a mixed bag. He has won big in a ton of areas but also lost big in others. Trump is learning how the political system works on the fly and he is only going to get better as time goes out. Trump stick to your campaign promises and you will be one of the best Presidents this country has ever seen, break those promises and you will be considered one of the worst. This is completely up to you.
