A recent Washington Post/ABCÂ poll boasted some very good news for President Trump.
The poll stated this:
As noted, this poll finds no evidence of buyer’s remorse among Trump supporters. Among those who report having voted for him in November, 96 percent today say it was the right thing to do; a mere 2 percent regret it. And if a rerun of the election were held today, the poll indicates even the possibility of a Trump victory in the popular vote among 2016 voters.
The 96% number shows me two things. The first being that his supporters realize that he has already nailed in a ton of areas. Trump has been huge in curtailing illegal immigration. Cutting it down 93% since taking office. They also realize he has been outstanding in the foreign policy department. He not only was able to garner support from China in the fight against North Korea but after one meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was able to free charity workers Aya Hijaz and her husband.Â
The second thing is that it doesn’t surprise me. A lot of Trump’s support came from the fact people despised Hillary. Sure people hated Trump but that was because he was anti-establishment. He challenged Political Correctness and wants to take America back from the extreme left that has hijacked it. Trump could do nothing and it would still be better than 4 years of Hillary Clinton.
The Poll also pointed out 67% of Americans feel the Democratic Party is out of touch with reality. This news is huge for Republicans. It shows Americas growing disconnect with Political Correctness and victimology. Those two principles are the main rallying points of The Democratic Party at this point.
